Minua's music presents itself in constant alteration. Circling around drones and more song-based structures, their style defies genre boundaries with a subtle blend of acoustic and electronic textures. At the heart of Minua’s sound lies the bass clarinet and guitars alongside modular and digital synthesis, while expanded instrumentation commonly features the euphonium, organs and various reed- and plucked instruments. The musicians act as one unit, dedicating themselves to the collective sound; one that evokes both out-of-focus imagery and low-key melancholia.

Minua has released several recordings on European labels including Still Light (2019) on Traumton Records, Simulacra (2021) on Warm Winters Ltd., and Irradiance (2023) on Nils Frahm’s label LEITER Verlag. In 2025–2026 the ensemble released the three-part album Bodies of Water, Pt. I–III on Hout Records. Minua has toured widely, performing across Europe and in China.
